The Pavillon Henri IV is located on the former site of Saint-Germain-en-Laye's Château Neuf, where Louis XIV was born in 1638. The site was chosen by Henri IV for its "perfect horizon, pleasing to the eye".
 
 
 
 
BY CAR
From Paris 'Porte Maillot'

- From Porte Maillot square, head towards Neuilly-sur-Seine
- Take Charles de Gaulle avenue in the direction of 'La Défense'
- Take the tunnel under La Défense; keep right in the tunnel
- Take the A86 in the direction of 'Saint-Germain-en-Laye'
- Continue on the N13 road
- At the Rueil Malmaison exit, take the N13 in the direction of 'Saint-Germain-en-Laye – Versailles'
- Follow the signs indicating 'Saint-Germain-en-Laye Centre'
- When you get to the roundabout at the Place Royale, take Gambetta avenue
- Turn right onto Thiers road

BY PLANE
From Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport:

- Take the A1 in the direction of Paris
- Take the A86 in the direction of Nanterre/La Défense/Saint-Germain-en-Laye
- Exit at Rueil Malmaison and take the N13 in the direction of Saint-Germain-en-Laye – Versailles
- Follow the signs indicating 'Saint-Germain-en-Laye Centre'
- When you get to the roundabout at the Place Royale, take Gambetta avenue
- Turn right onto Thiers road

From Orly Airport:

- Take the N186 road headed for Versailles
- Continue on the A86 motorway, still in the direction of Versailles
- Take the A12 in the direction of Paris
- When you get onto the A13 motorway, take the exit indicating the direction of Saint-Germain-en-Laye
- On the N13 road follow the signs for 'Saint-Germain-en-Laye Centre'
- When you get to the roundabout, take Gambetta avenue
- Turn right onto Thiers road
 
BY METRO / RER train
The Pavillon Henri IV hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the RER train (line A).

The RER A train goes directly to the La Défense, Auber Opera, Gare de Lyon, Gare de Bercy and Disneyland Paris stations.

There are also metro connections at each of these RER stations.
